Wahren PVDC
PVDC Coated Film is manufactured by Wahren. This high-performance pharmaceutical packaging material is developed by coating Polyvinylidene Chloride (PVDC) on PVC or other base films to significantly enhance the barrier properties against moisture, oxygen, and gases.
PVDC coating provides one of the most effective barriers available in pharmaceutical blister packaging, ensuring extended shelf life and protection for moisture-sensitive drugs. The film exhibits excellent thermoforming properties, high clarity, strong mechanical strength, and reliable sealing performance, making it suitable for high-speed blister packaging operations.
This material is widely used for primary pharmaceutical packaging, particularly for products requiring improved moisture and oxygen protection.
